GNX-10758 POS now prints two copies of each credit card receipt when configured to do so
In previous versions, if your location's POS was configured to print two receipts per order, the POS may have only printed one of them. In the Admin Console's Main Menu, click Location Setup, then click Rooms. In the Rooms screen, select an existing room. In the room's Settings panel, you can use the # Credit Card Receipts list to set the number of receipts that the POS prints when a customer uses a credit card to pay a ticket opened in this room. If you select "2", the POS will print two copies of the receipt (one for the location and one for the customer).
However, in previous versions, the POS may have only printed a single copy of such receipts. This problem only occurred on POS workstations that were also configured to require customers paying with credit cards to sign a signature on a customer facing display. We have corrected this, and the POS now prints two copies of each credit card receipt when configured to do so.
GNX-10777 Abort button no longer displays on Pay App device while processing payments
In previous versions, if your location uses Genius for Restaurants with TSYS Wholesale you may have encountered a problem. Specifically, if a processed a credit card payment using the Pay App, the total amount displayed on the ticket may have been different from the amount charged to the card. In such cases, the problem occurred because a staff member tapped the Abort Customer Display button before the payment was fully processed. We have corrected this, and the Abort Customer Display button will no longer display until the device finishes processing a payment and receives a response from the processor.
GNX-10904 POS processes credit card payments without error
In previous versions, if you tried to pay a ticket with a credit card scanned on a Reader, the POS may have been unable to process the payment. In such cases, after trying to process the payment, the POS displayed an error message:
We have corrected this, and the POS now processes credit card payments properly.
GNX-11357 POS no longer crashes after update
In previous versions, if you ran the POS after installing an update, the POS may have "crashed" (quit abruptly) immediately after loading. We have corrected this, and the POS now runs properly after you install an update.
GNX-11426 Performance improvements for print processing
In a previous version, there was an issue that caused the POS to quit abruptly when trying to processing print jobs. We have corrected this, and these occasional app failures when processing print jobs should not continue.
