What's New?
The following release notes detail the enhancements we have included in this release.
GAND-581 Support link in Support Alert email updated
We have updated an invalid link in our Support Alert emails. Our Support Alert emails typically include links to pertinent support documentation to assist users in troubleshooting problems. However, in previous versions, the Unable to Process End-of-Day Support Alert email featured a broken link to an outdated article. We have corrected this, and the Unable to Process End-of-Day Support Alert email now features a valid link to the "Mini Manager Guide" article in our Help Center site.
GAND-709 Automatic Expiration Alert added to Quickbooks screen
The Admin Portal now displays an automatic alert in the Quickbooks screen informing staff that the account's connection to QuickBooks will soon expire and that they should log out and log back into Quickbooks to avoid the disconnection. Specifically, the program will display an alert (in yellow text) three months before the expiration time. The program will display the alert again (with red text) seven days before the expiration time. The alerts include the expiration time.
GAND-1060 Value validation added to 'Integration Price Adjustment' box in Third Party Ordering settings
In locations that use the DoorDash integration, the Admin Portal now validates the amount entered for the Delivery Integration Price Adjustment (%) setting. In the Admin Console’s Main Menu, click Location Setup, then select Online Ordering. In the Online Ordering screen, click the Online Ordering tab, then click the Third Party Ordering tab. In the Third Party Ordering tab, in the Delivery Integration Price Adjustment (%) box, you can enter an appropriate price adjustment (as a percentage amount) that the POS will apply to incoming DoorDash orders.
In previous versions, the Admin Portal would allow you to enter invalid values in this box, such as negative numbers, letters, and symbols, or percentages greater than 100%. We have modified the Admin Portal to not accept such values, and now if you enter any invalid values in the Delivery Integration Price Adjustment (%) box, the Admin Portal will display an descriptive error message and will not save the settings until the entered value is corrected.
Updates
The following release notes detail the fixes we have included in this release.
GSUPP-360 POS receives orders with Blizzful discounts properly
In previous versions, if your location uses the Blizzful loyalty service, you may have encountered a problem. In certain circumstances, if the POS received an order from a Blizzful customer that included an item with a Blizzful reward discount applied to it, the POS may not have included the discount. In such cases, the POS received the order with the item, but the Blizzful discount was not applied to the item. Also, the POS may have displayed an error message:
{"error":"Error with discount_id: YWRqdXN0bWVudDoyMzg0Mzg= of discounts"}.
We have corrected this, and now when the POS receives an order that includes a Blizzful reward discount, it no longer removes the discount from its item or generates an error message.
GAPI-431 POS displays default ingredients and default sub items properly
In previous versions, if you added an item to a ticket that included default ingredients with default sub items, the POS may not have displayed all of those ingredients and sub items in its Ticket panel. We have corrected this, and the POS now displays all default ingredients with sub items properly in the Ticket panel.
