Locations help you structure your account in a way that mirrors how your business actually runs — whether that’s by region, franchise, customer type, sales channel, or anything else that makes sense for you. It's all about keeping things clear, manageable, and tailored to how you work.
What locations do for you in PM+
Here’s how adding locations can make your workflow smoother:
👓 Filter what you see
Use the dropdown in the top right corner to view activity by location — or choose All to see everything at once. For example, if you select MAIN, you’ll only see Invoices from that specific spot.
💸 Route payments where they need to go
When creating estimates, invoices, or using virtual sell, you can assign a different location to make sure everything gets sorted properly — right down to directing funds to the correct bank account.
🗂️ Keep info relevant for your team
Assign users to individual locations so they’re only seeing what applies to them. Managers and Supervisors can be part of multiple locations — everyone else sticks to one.
✂️ Tailor your offerings by location
You can make specific products or services available at just certain locations — or share them across all of them.
Just a heads-up: if you update a shared item, that change will apply to every location it's linked to.
How to add, edit, or deactivate a location
Adding a new location
- Head to Settings > Merchant Account > Store Locations
- Click Add New Location
- Fill in the details and hit Save
While you’re there, you can also:
- Choose how your business name appears: Want the receipt or invoice to show just the location’s name? Toggle that on. Want it to show both the main business and location name? Keep it off.
- Make sure payments work: Leave Location Available turned on so you can take payments there. If you turn it off, that location won’t be active for new payments, but you’ll still see past metrics and reports.
- Add a logo (if you want to): Customize your branding by uploading a logo for this location — or leave it blank to keep using your main logo.
Editing a location
- Go to Settings > Merchant Account > Store Locations
- Click the pencil icon to make changes, or the eye icon to take a peek without editing
Deactivating a location
- Go to Settings > Merchant Account > Store Locations
- Click the minus icon to deactivate right away, or the eye icon if you want to review first
