If you wish to change scheduled shifts, there are a couple of ways of making an edit.
Changing the date of a shift or swapping between employees
You can transfer a shift to a new time or employee by dragging and dropping it to a different location on the schedule grid. Any already published shifts will immediately be reverted to “unpublished” state and will need to be republished by selecting the Publish button on the upper right.

Changing details about a shift
Select the existing shift. A window will open with the full details of the shift. You can edit any information that appears, excepting the date (if you wish to change the date of a shift, use the drag and drop method above).
If only a few details have changed, you can select Update, and it will remain published. If you change the employee, this will revert it to an unpublished state.
You may either publish it here by selecting Publish on the lower left, or on the main schedule screen on the upper right.
You may also use this method to add unavailability or time off schedules for employees by selectin the appropriate tab.
Publishing the changes
When selecting Publish, you will see a notification window. Indicate how and if you would like to communicate with the users by choosing the appropriate link:
- Notify all users of the new schedule
- Notify employees with changes only
- Don’t send notifications.
Note that if you close the window without choosing one of these options, it will remain unpublished.
