At Heartland we require all contacts to have a four-digit numeric PIN code to verify identity and keep your information secure.
PIN Code Requirements
- All codes must be four numerical digits (no letters allowed)
- Numbers cannot be repeating, such as “1, 1, 1, 1”
- Numbers cannot be sequential, such as “1, 2, 3, 4”
- Numbers cannot be part of your FEIN, zip code, address number, phone number, email address, or the current year.
- Each contact on your account must use a unique PIN code.
Your authorization PIN is verified each time you contact us over the phone, so it’s important you set up a secure PIN. If you have not set up a PIN on your account or need to change your PIN, please contact your Payroll Support Team.
