Void reasons are the reasons a staff member may specify when performing a void transaction for a whole ticket or items on a ticket. Some common examples are “Food Cold”, “Did Not Like”, “Changed Mind”, or “Missing Items”.
To access the Void Reasons screen, log into the Admin Console and select an appropriate account. In the Admin Console’s Main Menu, click Account Menu, then click Void Reasons. In the Void Reasons screen, click New to create a new void reasons.
Name: Type a descriptive name for the void reason.
Restore Stock: If you select this check box, the POS will increase the location’s available item stock when you perform a void and associate it with this void reason.
