From the Jobs page, you can see your list of all posted jobs.
You can see how many applicants there are for a position by looking at the numbers just below the listing.
To see the applicants, select the listing, and choose the status where there are applicants listed.
Too see more detail about the applicant, select their name. This will bring up their profile.
This screen displays basic contact information for this person, including any uploaded resumes.
If you look at the upper right of the screen, you will see several icons. These are, in order:
- Send Message
- Add Note
- Share Candidate
- Create Task
- Add Event
- Tag Application
- Video Conference
- Copy or Move Candidate
- Send Assessments
Here you may send the candidate an email or a text. (If they have not enabled texting, this option will be disabled). You can either compose a message yourself, or use a preset email template.
Here you may add any internal notes about a candidate.
Sharing information about a candidate with a colleague will provide basic information, forward along any attachments, such as the application, their resume, any internal notes, messages between you and the candidate, their rating, and any additional documents.
Using the create task functionality, you can set any number of standard tasks to the process of managing this employee, which can then be visible on the Tasks entry on the main menu., and you can assign this task to a team member.
You may also create an event from here, such as an interview, which will appear on the Calendar.
You can provide helpful keywords for finding this person later on.
From here, you can set up a direct video conference with the candidate. By choosing this option, this will send an invitation in real time to the candidate’s email, and then open a video screen. Once the candidate accepts this, a conference can begin in the window which opens up.
Copy or Move Candidate
If you believe this candidate might be better suited for a different position within your organization, you copy or move their application over to another posting. Select the new position, add some notes, and either select Copy Candidate or Move Candidate.
You may send a candidate assessment to another staff member for evaluation purposes using Criteria.
To be able to track the status of an employee, you can choose a status from the dropdown menu just below their information.
Below this there is a small menu for tracking the activity and information for the candidate. This includes:
- Profile – this is the main page, which includes access to the applicant’s resume. On this tab, you may initiate WOTC screening.
- Additional Actions – you may view or upload additional documents for the candidate. Here you may also initiate a background check through GoodHire.
Messages – Here you can see a record of all communication with the candidate.
Notes – here you may view or add any notes regarding the candidate.
- Provide Feedback – If rating criteria have been set up for the position, you may rate the employee based on star system, and add any comments you wish here.
Feedback Approval – Here you can provide final approval of the above feedback ratings.
History – here you may see a history of all status changes or actions performed for this candidate
If you wish to screen the candidate for a possible Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC), by selecting the Send WOTC Screening Request button while on the Profile tab, this will send a questionnaire to the applicant. If they qualify, and you choose to hire them, you may qualify for a tax credit from the IRS.
