Employee and employer taxes are collected by the United States federal government and most state governments. Various elements determine the tax amounts: tax rates, taxable income, allowable deductions, filing types, tax charts, etc. These taxes are mandatory, and it’s important to keep both the employing organization and the employee compliant with these tax calculations.
