Before performing credit card sales, an EMV-capable PAX card reader device must be set up for that iPad.
Your devices should arrive already configured. To connected them to your network, you might need to also set the card reader in the POS settings:
- Select the menu icon in the top right corner to display a list of options.
- Select Manager, and then Payment Terminals. A list of available payment terminals displays.
- Select a PAX device. The application will attempt to connect to it.
- Select the Card Reader icon in the top panel.
The POS will display a panel listing the statuses of all its card readers. If the POS connected successfully, the list will display its status as CONNECTED.
