Reports → Check Print Back
See our Client Printback Guide for step-by-step instructions and troubleshooting tips.
Choose “Actual Size” under the “Page Sizing & Handling” section to ensure proper check spacing. [See image below]. If your PDF opens in a browser window instead of Adobe, choose “Letter” for the sizing. If it doesn’t align properly on the check stock when printed, you may need to change the default PDF viewer to Adobe.
To download the latest version of Adobe Reader at no cost, go to: https://get.adobe.com/reader/.
Keep the file open until you verify that the checks printed properly (spacing is correct).
💡 Our check output is formatted for Adobe Reader and “Actual Size.”
Check File Samples
Below is a check that is printed correctly. The routing and account numbers are clear, all data is visible, and the employee can deposit or cash their check.
Below is a check that was printed incorrectly, using ”Shrink to fit” instead of “Actual Size.” The routing and account number overlap the check data. The employee would be unable to deposit or cash their check.
Below is another check that was printed incorrectly. The printer’s default margins are too large. The routing and account numbers are partially removed. The employee would be unable to deposit or cash their check.
