EE Overrides are used to override the rates and limits for the selected employee. This is great for those employees who do not follow the normal plan rules.
Rate Overrides: Review employees when they reach plan milestones. Employees won’t advance to the next level due to the employee override, so their rate will have to be updated manually or removed to default to the plan rate.
Example: The company doesn’t normally allow for carryover for PTO.
A new employee negotiated 40 hours to be eligible for carryover to the next year at the time of hire. Use the EE Override Carryover Limit of 40 hours for one employee instead of the default of No Carryover.
