VIDEO: Timesheet Settings - Templates |
Under the Administration section, go to Timesheet Setting.
Under the Templates tab, select the Add Template box.
An Add Timesheet Template will appear. Give the template a Sheet Name and Description, then select Save.
Timesheet Settings
An Edit Timesheet Template will pop up. You may edit the name and the description here.
- Fill-out/Answer all the questions under the Employee Can Reopen a Submitted Timesheet section according to your company set-up. Options include reopening before approval, after approval, or neither.
- Indicate whether you wish employees to leave a mandatory comment before submitting their timesheet.
- You have the option of setting up an automatic submission of the timesheet, and if so, you may specify the number of hours after the due date it will submit.
- Set up set auto-fill for your spreadsheet. You can either have it automatically fill scheduled hours or not at all.
Once done, select Save.
Timesheet Blocks
Select the Timesheet Block tab beside Timesheet Settings.
The Timesheet Block Tab is divided into three sections: UI Blocks, Timesheet Template Preview, and Configuration.
Drag the type of UI block you wish to use into the Timesheet Template Preview area, and then fill out the default Configuration you need. For instance, below shows using an In/Out Time template.
After you have filled out all the required field, select Save & Publish and you will have a new template available for use.
