This guide is designed to help understand each of the types of timesheet blocks, how to use them and what information to include within each block.  

You can access Timesheet Blocks by navigating to Administration - Timesheet Settings, and when creating a new template,  select the Timesheet Blocks tab.

Attestation

The attestation is a text-based block which you may include on a timesheet to make sure that employees understand a particular piece of information.  Attestation blocks must be approved by the employee by clicking a checkbox.

Duration Based Time

The duration-based time entry block captures time worked on jobs as a manually entered duration of time worked.   See more information on how to configure the Duration Based Time Block.

In/Out Time

In/Out time blocks enable employees to manually enter the time that they begin and end a shift.  See more information on how to configure the In/Out Time block.

Notice

The Notice block displays a message on the timesheet.   You can add the title of the message and its text:

Punch Time Entry

The Punch Time Entry block allows users to automatically punch in their time, using either a mobile phone, tablet-based entry, through a web interface, or using a ZKT clock.   See more information on how to configure Punch Time Entry.

Pay Summary

The Pay Summary block enables you to display a summary of all pay for the period designated by the time sheet.

Time Off Bank

You may use a Time Off Bank block if your company allows employees to bank their hours worked in lieu of pay, for extra time off.  

Day Level Fields

The Day Level fields block will allow you to add customized fields at the day-level on a timesheet, to capture data related to time as a duration worked on jobs.

Timesheet Level Fields

The Timesheet Level fields block allows you to include customized fields for each period specified in the timesheet.

Time Off info

By including the Time Off Info block in a timesheet, this will allow employees to see all of the time off bookings that have been made in the time sheet.

Statutory Holiday Pay

The Statutory Holiday block will display all holiday pay entitlement directly on the spreadsheet.
