You can access Timesheet Blocks by navigating to Administration - Timesheet Settings, and when creating a new template or editing an existing one, select the Timesheet Blocks tab.
- Drag the Punch Time Entry block to the Timesheet Template Preview.
- Enter any custom fields for Punch In, Punch Out, Break, and Transfer.
- Identify what device will the employees be allowed to use to punch time: mobile phone via mobile app, computer/laptop via web, or iPad.
- If mobile and or iPad will be used, decide whether photo and location will be captured when clocking in/out.
- If computer/laptop will be used, the option of IP filtering is available.
- Identify whether Jobs is necessary to be tagged when encoding worked hours.
- Choose whether employees are to Manually Enter Break Time or have Automatic Breaks. For an automatic break, set by after how many hours of continuous work will the employee have an automatic break and for how long.
- Decide whether punches will be rounded to certain directions.
- In the additional settings, input if after how many hours does the account owner/administrator want to be notified about someone working overtime/going over-break/possibly forgetting to punch in/out.
- Decide whether Time Off information such as the number of remaining vacation, sick, or other time off hours should be displayed in the employee’s timesheets.
- Click Save.
