In the administration section, you can set up a number of schedule settings.
Under Administration, click on Schedule Settings:
Schedule Approval Path
You can set up an approval path for when an employee requests a change to their schedule or claims an open shift through the mobile app or web interface.
You will see a screen that looks like this:
Click on Add Approval Path on the right, and you will be brought to a screen that looks like this:
Here you can set the name of the Approval Path (e.g. “Hourly non-exempt employees”) and a description.
In the section labeled Define Approval Path Conditions you can set up several criteria, including whether an employee is trying to claim, drop, or swap a shift.
You can also set up a single or multi-step approval process, wherein you can allow either anyone in a set of conditions to approve a step, or require that all people within a grouping must approve it:
You may also set several criteria for what happens if a shift change request is rejected, or if it is not approved within a specific time limit.
If a shift change is rejected, you can choose whether to either return the shift to the employee or send the request back to the approvers.
You can also set a time limit on a request. If no action has occurred within this time period, you can set it to automatically approve the request, forward the request to the employee’s supervisor, or trigger an email reminder.
Shift Settings
On the tab labeled “Shift Settings” you will see a screen that looks like this:
Display Revenue Data
Toggling this switch will enable revenue data to appear, be updated, and imported on the schedule.
You may also determine whether approved time off will automatically drop scheduled shifts and make them open, by toggling the indicator.
Drop Shift Settings
Here you can choose between allowing employees who wish to drop a shift are provided an optional suggestion for someone who may be able to take their shift, or you may choose to not show employees a claim shift question.
Pick Up Shift Settings
Here you can specify whether you wish to prevent employees for picking up conflicting shifts for
