Texting is a powerful method of reaching a candidate to schedule meetings, get responses to questions, and keep in touch with quick results.

Before messaging candidates, the ATS account must have SMS enabled through the following process.
Enable Texting (SMS)
To enable SMS messaging for your account:
- Login to ATS with an admin account.
- From the left navigation panel, select Texting (SMS).
- Select Set up Texting (SMS).
- Review the introduction on the new window, then select Set up Texting (SMS).
- Select your Sending/Receiving Number from the available dropdown. This is the phone number that will be used when sending and receiving SMS messages through ATS. Review the plan costs, and then select Next.
- Verify your credit card details, then select Save to complete the setup process.
After submitting your payment information you will see an approval pending screen. The toll free number you have purchased will be approved for regulatory approval.
Note: This process typically takes a few days.
Once your application has been completed, your Texting (SMS) settings will be displayed:

Change Payment
To change your Texting (SMS) payment method:
- From the left navigation panel, select Texting (SMS).
- In the section Payment Information, select Edit.
- Select the payment method to use, or select Enter new credit card to add a new payment method.
- When finished, select Save.
Cancel Subscription
To cancel your Texting (SMS) subscription:
- From the left navigation panel, select Texting (SMS).
- In the section Billing Summary, under Plan Status, select Cancel.
- Review the information window. If you still wish to cancel, select Yes, cancel.
